WORSHIP LEADER – PART TIME POSITION
The Worship Leader is responsible to the church for the development, promotion, and conduct of the worship service and music program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Must have a personal relationship with Christ.
2. Direct the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of a comprehensive worship service including choirs, vocal, and/or instrumental ensembles.
3. Cooperate with the church Nominating Committee to enlist and train leaders for the church including song leaders and accompanists for the church educational organizations.
4. Lead in planning and promoting a choir program which includes a robust youth focus.
5. Serve as a member of the Church Council; coordinate the music program with the organizational calendar and emphasis of the church.
6. Assist the pastor in planning all worship services.
7. Maintain music library, materials, supplies and licensing.
8. Keep informed on music methods, materials, promotion, and administration.
9. Prepare an annual music budget for approval; administrate the approved budget.
10. Plan and coordinate leadership for the video, audio, and computer needs for services.
The Worship Leader is expected to commit sufficient time and hours per week to worship plannig and choir practice to attain and maintain quality worship experience.

BI-VOCATIONAL YOUTH DIRECTOR
Responsible for initiating, coordinating, and evaluating the church’s youth programs. These programs are to include both spiritual and recreational aspects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Have a personal relationship with Christ.
2. Lead the church in planning, conducting, and evaluating the Youth Program, while utilizing the Youth Council.
3. Serve as a member of the Church Staff and Church Council.
4. Facilitate activities for youth programs.
5. Encourage and assist volunteers with programs, as necessary.
6. Serve as a resource person for youth learning activities such as evangelistic programs, witnessing opportunities, and missions.
7. Submit to the Budget Committee the financial needs of the Youth Program and administer available funds in a responsible businesslike manner.
8. Utilize event planning sheet for all youth activities to facilitate accurate recordkeeping.
9. Stay in communication with families of youth. Communication can include, but is not limited to, home visits, school visits, fliers, cards, Facebook, church website.
10. Attend Church Staff meetings.
11. Organize, schedule, and lead Youth Council meetings on a monthly basis.
12. Discipline should always be encouraging and in the best interest of the student.
13. Serve as counselor for any student that might need counseling. Be prepared to refer that person to appropriate sources if needed (understand and follow any legal requirements).
The bi-vocational Youth Director is expected to commit 15 to 20 hours per week to church ministry.
