Welcome!

An Important Announcement
May 21, 2020

The leadership of FBC Trimmier has been much in prayer and, in light the Governor’s recent announcement, we will be returning to our regular schedule of activities on May 31st.  As we return we want to continue to be prudent and practice good health practices.  Also, please be respectful and do not assume everyone is comfortable with handshakes, etc…. Social distancing is still encouraged.

Also, on May 24th, we will be observing the Lord’s Supper.  It will be prepared with the utmost care.  Also the deacons and pastors will be wearing gloves as they distribute the elements.  The unleavened wafers will be placed individually it he small Lord’s Supper cups and the deacons will hand each person a cup. The same procedure of handing each person a cup will be the same for distribution of the juice.

If, for any reason, you are not comfortable participating in the Lord’s Supper, we understand.  Just indicate with a simple shake of the head and it will not be offered to you.
We do understand that there will be those who will not feel comfortable gathering together.  We all understand and respect your decision.  I know we all look forward to the day we can all gather together to worship the Lord.

Until then, may you wallow in God’s grace!

Pastor Kelly Boggs

Our prayer is that you will be blessed and strengthened by the power of Jesus, and that you will live a life of abundance in fellowship, joy and liberty. First Baptist Church of Trimmier is here to be a source of love and support for you and your family. It is not just a church; it is a fellowship of believers coming together to declare the glory of the Lord, and to celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Word, practice what we learn, and in the process grow together. May the Lord bless you and keep you! We hope to see you soon!
