Mark has served as pastor of FBC since 2009. Mark was born in Newton, Kansas and grew up in Oklahoma City as a member of Putnam City Baptist Church. It was there he accepted Christ as his savior. Mark met his wife, Lorna, while attending Oklahoma Baptist University where he accepted God's call of ministry and received his Bachelors of Religion. They were married in Paris.....(Paris, Texas that is) in 1982. Mark has a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary and is currently working toward his Doctorate of Ministry degree.
Mark and Lorna have two adult children, Aaron who lives in Murfressboro, Tennessee and Rachel who currently lives in Belton, Texas.
Our Worship Pastor: Glen Cosper
Glen has been bi-vocational minister of music at FBC for 9 years. Glen is a native of Belton and has been in the ministry for 47 years beginning when he was 18 years old. He grew up in FBC, Belton where he accepted Jesus as his savior and accepted the call to ministry. Glen and Glenda met while attending UMHB and have been married 42 years. Glen has an undergraduate degree from UMHB and a Masters Degree in Philantrophy from St Marys in Minnesota. He currently works at Scott and White Healthcare Foundation in development.
They have two grown children Lori who lives in Tucson and Chad and wife Amanda of Austin. They have one grandchild, Alyssa of Tucson..
Percy began serving FBC in February of 2011. Born in Mesquite, Texas, he grew up on the countryside of Elmo, Texas and eventually became a member of First Baptist Church of Wills Point, TX before moving away for school. During the summer of 2004 he accepted Christ and in the summer of 2007 he accepted the calling from God into vocational ministry. Percy is currently attending the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor obtaining his degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in Biblical Language.
